THE COMMUNITY · 01

The neighborhood we built before anyone knew our name.

900 South is where Sisu started. Before the custom builds and the bigger projects, there was a long, narrow stretch of dirt on Bicentennial Boulevard and an idea: design a small modern neighborhood and build the whole thing ourselves, slab to keys.

We platted twenty nine lots across two blocks. Block 1 runs twenty four lots down the Bicentennial frontage, between Jackson Avenue and Houston Avenue. Block 2 holds five more at the south end, the Three Sisters row and the open lot still for sale. Each lot sold at $72,000, and nearly the entire subdivision was spoken for by 2024.

Five homes were built and lived in here, each with its own facade but the same standard of finish: the three townhomes at 801, 803, and 805, the corner home we call The Houston, and the Bicentennial townhouse up the block. They became the proof of what Sisu could do.

Just one lot remains for sale at 900 South. But the homes are real, the plans exist, and we can build any one of them on a lot of your own anywhere in the Valley, or help you find the right piece of land first.

One standard.

The proof of 900 South lives in the homes that went up on it. Three townhomes in a row, a corner home, and a townhouse up the block, each finished turn key and lived in. Every photo below is a real Sisu build.

THE ADDRESS · 07

Central McAllen,
on Bicentennial.

900 South sits on Bicentennial Boulevard between Jackson Avenue and Houston Avenue, minutes from downtown McAllen. A real working corridor with quick reach to the mall, the schools, and the bridge.

It’s the kind of in town location that’s hard to find raw land in anymore, which is exactly why we built here first.

We’ll build it on your lot.

900 South is nearly sold out, but the homes are not one of a kind. If one of these designs is the home you want, Daniel can build it on a lot of your own anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley.

Don’t have land yet? We help with that too. Tell us what you’re after and we’ll find the right lot, then build on it.

  • Build any 900 South design on your own lot.
  • No lot yet? We help you find and evaluate one.
  • You talk to the builder, not a commission salesperson.
  • Spanish and English. Daniel runs both conversations himself.

Yes. The four facades and the townhome plans built at 900 South are real, permitted designs. Daniel can build any of them on a lot you own anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley, or adapt one to fit your site and your family.
We do this regularly. Tell us the area you want, your budget, and the home you have in mind, and we’ll help you find and evaluate a lot, then build on it. Sisu has walked plenty of buyers from “no land” to “keys in hand.”
