Sisu is a small, founder-run operation in McAllen. When you call the office, you reach Daniel, Jessica, or someone they trained themselves. Your build is not a file passed between four project managers. It is one founder and a tight team that has been in the Valley together for years.
Daniel Estrada
I am the founder of Sisu and the general contractor on every Sisu build. Before starting the company in 2021, I spent over 7 years in RGV construction, learned every trade on real jobsites, and earned my construction management specialization from Columbia University in 2022.
I also hold a BS in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which is why working across the US Mexico border feels natural to me and to a lot of our buyers.
Founder on every jobsite.
I am physically on every Sisu jobsite multiple times a week. I am the one signing change orders, inspecting framing before drywall goes up, calling subs when something is off. If you visit the site, you’ll see me there. Every Sisu home gets built this way.

Jessica Gonzalez
Jessica is my wife and our family’s anchor. She is also a licensed Texas real estate agent and serves as the listing agent for Sisu Development properties.
That matters for one specific reason: when you are ready to list your current home so you can move into your Sisu build, or when you need a Realtor’s perspective on lot selection, you do not have to find a stranger. Jessica already knows the build, the timeline, and your family. The handoff from build to listing happens inside one conversation, in English or Spanish.
Continuity from build to closing.
Most custom builds break down at the seams between contractor, lender, Realtor, and title. Jessica being on the Realtor side means one less seam. She can list your current home, advise on contingent contracts, coordinate with title (we work with Land Title Texas), and time everything to your Sisu build’s completion date, all under one roof in English or Spanish.
