We built three modern townhomes in downtown McAllen in 2026, and all three are sold. Here is what went into them, and where we are building next.
In March we wrote about three new townhomes we built in downtown McAllen. All three are sold now. The last one closed in September 2026.

What made these homes different
Walk through a Sisu home and you notice the things other builders skip. Quartz countertops in the kitchen. Custom cabinetry. Spray foam insulation so the electric bill stays low through a Valley summer. A metal roof that lasts decades. Epoxy coated garage floors. Private fenced backyards with real grass, horizontal wood fencing and covered pergolas, the kind of outdoor space that actually gets used.
The three homes
The eldest sister. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 1,262 square feet of living space, a one car attached garage and a fully fenced private yard. Sold.
The middle and youngest sisters. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 1,460 square feet. A covered balcony with brick screen walls that throw light patterns through the day, a frameless glass rain shower in the primary bath, walk in closets with built in organizers, and tall windows that fill the main level with light. Both sold.
Where we are building next
Our next homes are at Pecan Heights in McAllen, on lots 8 to 14. Homes there are priced from $275K to $310K with the lot included. See the plans and the lots on the Pecan Heights page.
